FMA is the evening when we celebrate this treasure we Faroese cherish—our music. The event will be broadcast live on television, staged at the Nordic House, where the best achievements in Faroese music from the past year will be honored with live performances and award presentations!

The first Faroese Music Awards ceremony was held on March 15, 2014, at the Nordic House in a festive event where 22 awards were presented. The Faroese Music Awards took place for the second time on the evening of Saturday, March 14, 2015, with slight changes to the award categories.
