Recital – Piano & Cello

Faroese pianist Aksel Remmel and Canadian cellist Félix Nunes present an intimate and engaging concert for cello and piano.

The programme brings together expressive and accessible works, perfect for both newcomers and experienced listeners.

Schumann: Fantasiestücke, op. 73

Fazil Say: 4 Cities – Sivas & Bodrum

Shostakovich’s Cello Sonata is a deeply moving and intense work. Schumann’s Fantasiestücke, Op. 73 is a set of three short movements, each with its own distinct character. Rachmaninoff’s Vocalise contains one of the most iconic and beautiful melodies in the classical repertoire. Finally, they will perform two pieces from Four Cities by Fazıl Say, which draws inspiration from folk and jazz music.
