Tórshavn Chamber Choir turns 40 years

Tórshavnar Kamarkór (Tórshavn Chamber Choir) is celebrating it’s 40th jubilee with a concert which will take place in the church in Hoyvík on April 12th at 4pm.
The concert will be in two parts. The first part will be sung by former and present choir members and conducted by both former and the current conductor while in the second part conductor Bernharður Wilkinson will conduct the present choir.
In the programme you will see a representation of songs from the choir’s vast repertoire past and present. Among them the premiere of a new commisioned piece by Eli Tausen á Lava.
In the break there will be coffee.
