VETRARJAZZ 2026 – Tora Trond (FO)

Tora is 20 years old. She grew up in Copenhagen, but is currently studying composing at the Torshavn Music School in the Faroe Islands. Since she was very young, Tóra has been interested in creating music. She wrote a musical, sang in Big Bands and choirs, in addition to participating in the Danish entrepreneurship event, “She Can Play”

In 2022, she released her first single, “Stadig Væk”, which was widely played on KVF radio and was also nominated for Radio of the Year hit the same year.
The music Tora creates is both emotional and melodic, with honest, poetic lyrics.
