Voxbotn Concert Day in Vágsbotn

Every year, a major concert event is organized in Vágsbotn, Tórshavn, featuring both international and Faroese music acts from 3 PM to 3 AM. The event includes live music, dockside dancing, and a play area with bouncy castles for children. There are also grill, food, and beer tents with seating, providing a cozy atmosphere with outdoor grilling, café, music, and entertainment throughout the day and night. The area hosts two stages.

Performers are gradually announced leading up to the event. The first Voxbotn took place on June 30, 2012, with Medina as the only international headliner. Since then, the event has grown significantly, featuring numerous international and Faroese artists.

Past performers include Nephew, Lost Frequencies, Jonas Blue, Thomas Helmig, Martin Jensen, Hanne Boel, Gulddreng, Mads Langer, Otto Knows, Robin Schulz, Sanne Salomonsen, John Martin and Michel Zitron from Swedish House Mafia, U.D.O., Eagle Eye Cherry, Aura Dione, L.O.C., Return, Starship, Michael Learns To Rock, Medina, Nik & Jay, Legends of Iron Maiden, Carpark North, Bro, Christopher, The Antonelli Orchestra, Týr, Eivør, 200, Swangah, Marius, Byrta, Safir, Páll Finnur Páll, Stanley Samuelsen, Eyðun and Terji, Martin Joensen, Janus W. Mortensen, Kári P., and many other renowned names.

Voxbotn has sold out every year, often months in advance.
