Maggies Makes Music Magic!
Maggies Café is a cosy spot in Nólsoy, designed to bring people together for both fun and serious matters.
In addition to lots of live music, you can enjoy games like darts, playing cards, backgammon, and more. You can also watch football matches or other sports on the big screen.
Maggies aims to create a lively atmosphere in the village of Nólsoy while offering visitors light meals such as pita bread, burgers, or fish ‘n’ chips. Fish soup is served on weekends or on demand. Homemade ice cream, enticing drinks, and cultural experiences are also part of our offerings.
Opening Hours:
- Open daily from May to August at 1:00 PM.
- The kitchen is open until 8:00 PM.
If you’re interested in food beyond the regular menu, like a steak, please order at least three days in advance.
Musicians and other artists are welcome to perform at Maggies. Performing artists set their ticket prices and keep the income from ticket sales. Maggies has an agreement with Koda (royalties).
During live concerts, we ask that the audience keeps conversations to a minimum to focus on the music.
To get tickets to an event, check out our website or buy a ticket at the door. We don’t reserve or refund tickets, except when an event is canceled.
See our upcoming program here.
Everyone is welcome at Maggies, but we expect our guests to behave respectfully and not disturb others. We also ask that guests show respect for the village of Nólsoy in general.
If you have questions or requests, give us a call at +298 327199 or +298 228130.
Maggies Café won the 2019 FMA (Faroese Music Award) for Special Initiative for recording live performances at Maggies.
