SWAY is a captivating jazz trio made up of Marianna Winther Nagata, Katrina Olsen, and Dania O. Tausen. With stunning harmonies and infectious energy, they perform lively and highly entertaining a cappella songs. Drawing special inspiration from the iconic Andrews Sisters of the 1930s, SWAY’s performances blend beloved classics with original material, all within the same timeless jazz style.

Since their debut, SWAY has made a remarkable impact on the Faroese music scene, gracing stages across the islands. Their highlights include arranging for and singing with both the Faroese Symphony Orchestra and Tórshavn Big Band, as well as collaborating with Eivør on a special rearrangement of one of her songs. They have brought their music to schools around the country through Listaleypurin and even performed for Queen Margrethe. In 2021, SWAY took home the Stella Polaris music competition prize, and the trio has since played countless concerts at private and public events nationwide.

Known as a breath of fresh air in Faroese music, SWAY delights audiences with their charisma, humor, and unforgettable live shows. Their music is entertaining, their mood truly infectious, and it’s no wonder they have captured the hearts of listeners across the Faroe Islands.
