On Saturday, 13 September, you’ll get the chance when we once again invite you to Slaktið – a large family event where chefs prepare fantastic food that everyone gets to taste – completely free of charge.
At the same time, we will demonstrate how meat goes from animal to table. This also means that animals will be slaughtered on site – with the purpose of showing children and teaching them that food does not grow in the supermarket fridge at Bónus. Here, children get to experience how meat goes from animal to plate. They will also discover how different types of meat can delight the taste buds before ending up in the stomach.
“We want to give both children and adults an experience to take with them – a bit of knowledge, a sense of gratitude, and a great taste experience. Who knows, maybe this could even be the beginning of our future Michelin chefs,” say the organizers.
This is not an ordinary event – this is an experience that both children and adults will remember.
