Workshop: Visual Communication

You might recognize the situation: You have to make a poster for an event, but you’re unsure how much text to include. Or you need to create an image for a Facebook event, but you’re not sure how to catch people’s attention with the right colors and fonts. Or the post you made for Instagram seems to lean to one side.

Communication can be about the words we say and the text we write. But communication is also about how we use images, fonts, and colors to convey our message. When we organize events or campaigns, social media and posters are useful tools. In this workshop, you’ll gain knowledge about structure, colors, fonts, and images, as well as basic skills in Canva. The workshop will strengthen your ability to communicate your message visually.

The workshop is intended for all young people — both individuals and members of organizations. It will take place in Perlan on Thursday, 2 October. There will be some food during the break.
