VETRARJAZZ 2026 – GØ (FO)

GØ was formed in 2015 by four talented young musicians from Tórshavn, who were tired of
playing “the right way”. Today they are among the most requested musicians on the Faroe
Islands and they still live by the same mentality when playing or writing music together; in
GØ, everything goes. While the sound of the band resembles an echo from the sixties or
seventies, the music is inspired by Jazz, Rock and film music, such as film noir or spaghetti
western. GØ’s music has been praised for its originality and the band’s music has continued
to intrigue audiences with its exciting energy and sometimes humoristic character.
