VETRARJAZZ 2026 – Herluf Lützens Trio (FO)

The orchestra has existed for about ten years, but under different names.

Many people from the Faroe Islands remember Kátir Kallar, with the same lineup, plus Magnus Johannessen. They released the well-received album titled “Jazzbók Føroya Fólks.”

Back then, it was about jazz-arranged Faroese songs, arranged by the members of the orchestra.

In this group, they mostly play original compositions by Herluf Lützen.

However, some cover songs are also included. The style is jazz and Latin, among others.
