Did anyone say Jazz? Or Rock? Or perhaps R’nB’? Never mind because these young musicians know it all. They are students at the three year music education program at Tórshavn Music School and whenever they are not at work or studying you will find them at the music school practicing their instruments to perfection. They represent nearly the entire country – Vágur, Klaksvík, Kvívík, Vestmanna, Toftir, Fuglafjørður and Tórshavn –and they have prepared a special Jazz repertoire for this concert and are eager to know just how much you loved it! So don’t miss out as you might very well be looking at the next Art Tatum or Ella Fitzgerald!

Glasull

Glasull (EN: glass wool) quartet is an ensemble of four young
faroese musicians: Treysti Holm (guitar), Heini Hofgaard Johannesen (bass), Inga Laksáfoss Simonsen (keys), Asger Schmidt (drums). Influences include fusion jazz. Both interpretations of established jazz tunes, and original tunes are to be played.
