William Heinesen Tour (FO)

William Heinesen wrote stories, drew, and created paper cuttings of beings inspired by ancient legends of huldres, trolls, and elves. Through his illustrations and narratives, these creatures were brought to life.

Randi Kúrberg will provide insight into William Heinesen and his mythical creatures. Guests will also have the opportunity to wander through William Heinesen’s home and peek into the writing hut of the “star-poet under Varði,” as he is often called.

Duration: A tour of William’s house takes approximately 45 minutes.
