Ævintýraferðin – not for children
One reason for their success is that their songs and stories always have two layers of meaning: one for children and another for adults. In most of Dánjal and Búi’s performances, these two layers have gone hand-in-hand, though sometimes the children’s layer has stood alone. But they have never performed for adults only.
Until now.
On February 21st, there will be a so-called ‘not-for-kids’ concert with Ævintýraferðin at OY.
Dánjal and Búi, along with their band, will play X-rated versions of well-known classics like Grækaris Grashøvd, Snedigt, and Gentir og Dreingir.
The children’s ball is canceled—it’s time for an adults’ ball!
The concert has an 18+ age limit. No children, no (too) young people, and preferably no sensitive souls.
