Vinjar w/ band

Vinjar, who was nominated for Musician of the Year at the 2026 Faroese Music Award, now invites the audience into his musical world when he performs his new compositions at Open Mic at Reinsariið.

Vinjar is a very visible and active part of the Faroese music scene. He has played with a long series of artists and projects, including Jazzygold, Guðrið Hansdóttir, Lea Kampmann, Elinborg, and Einangran.

With his new solo material, he shows a different and more personal side of himself. The music is an inspiring blend of mellow folk and contemporary Nordic jazz. The result is a sound universe that is both present, conceptual and exciting.

On stage with Vinjar will also be three talented musicians:
– Vinjar Egilsnes Petersen – piano
– Johan Hentze – flugelhorn
– Arnold Ludvig – bass
– Rogvi á Rógvu – drums

The concert is part of the charming Open Mic / Open Stage event at Reinsariið, where the audience gets close to the music and the artists in an intimate and present environment.

The friendly and inviting hosts, Arnold and Anna, provide a safe and cosy space where everyone feels welcome – including those who want to try their own material on stage.
