Heidi Vágsá – an exhibition about light, strength, and finding yourself again
The exhibition is a journey into feminine imagery, colours, and emotions — but also a personal story about returning to creativity after a difficult period in life.
“This is my first solo exhibition, and it feels significant. I am both excited and moved,” says Heidi Vágsá. “When everything was hard, I picked up the brush again. Art became a place where I could breathe and find my light in the darkness.”
On the lower floor, we encounter women in various moods and expressions — vivid, strong, and full of life. On the upper floor, we enter a different world, with other motifs and imaginative spaces that give the exhibition depth and contrast.
Programme for the evening:
- Hans Jakup Nystrøm performs a selection of songs
- The artist shares a few words about her work and journey
- Coffee, tea, bubbles, and something tasty will be available
You are warmly welcome to bring someone along and experience the exhibition together with others.
Tuesday 23 June, purchased artworks can be collected.
