Skyline Summit of Streymoy – Núgvan
After a short drive to the mountain pass Norðadalsskarð (225 m), we begin our hike along an old shepherd’s trail across open moorland. The path gradually climbs toward the 667-meter summit while the views expand across Streymoy’s dramatic coastline and neighboring islands.
At the summit we enjoy a spectacular 360-degree panorama across the Faroe Islands. On clear days you may see distant peaks rising from the North Atlantic while seabirds glide along the wind.
There is plenty of time for photos, rest and a snack while your guide shares stories about Faroese nature and life in the mountains.
After the hike we return to the mountain pass and drive back to Tórshavn.
