Ingrid Møller in Smiðjan í Lítluvík
The Danish visual artist Ingrid Møller has been travelling to the Faroe Islands for many years and now has a home and studio in Vestmanna.
In her paintings, Ingrid explores how we remember places: the light, the colours, the mountains, and the feeling of being there. The works are therefore not direct depictions of specific places, but exist somewhere between landscape, memory, and dreams.
The exhibition explores how we remember places, and how our memories shape and change our perception of what we once saw.
