Welcome to an inspiring lecture from architect Eyðun Eliasen about the architectural lines and rich content of religious symbols in Vesturkirkjan.
Learn about nave, altar, baptismal basin and other content in churches and in Vesturkirkjan in particular.
Eyðun Eliasen is 55 years old and has for many years contributed richly to the architectural landscape in the Faroe islands. Since 2013 he has run his architectural firm, EYA, which e.g is charachterized by loyalty to local landscape, esthetics and culture. Eyðun is also known for his contribution in communicating architecture.
After the lecture there will be coffee, tea and something sweet.
