Art has been a part of Jógvan’s DNA since childhood.

His father is known as an exceptional portrait painter, and with well-known artists like Hans Jákup Glerfoss and Rannvá Kunoy in his close family, Jógvan has always been surrounded by art.

He has been painting and drawing since he was very young. And despite having an academic background in IT and film studies, Jógvan has always stayed true to his artistic roots. In 2019, he picked up the brush again, and since then, his exhibitions have been highly successful, with his artworks selling like hotcakes.
