Children’s Christmas Event at Margarinfabrikkin (The Margarine Factory)

On Saturday, December 7, children of all ages can head to Tórsgøta where Margarinfabrikkin is hosting the children’s cultural day, Barnajól.

Margarinfabrikkin will have an open house from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM for children, youth, and adults. Everyone is welcome to explore the old factory, try out various crafts, enjoy a cup of coffee, or simply see what interesting activities Margarinfabrikkin has to offer. On this day, Margarinfabrikkin and Posthúskjallarin will host various workshops, a candy factory, a beauty salon, and musical performances.

The event is free, and no registration is needed for the workshops, where you can make your own candy, create items from clay, paint Christmas nails, or try more artistic workshops like graphic design. There will also be musical performances by children and youth from Margarinfabrikkin.
