Carsten Knudsen (DK) – A “Nightingale” comes North
He is the man who played Gertrud Sand and Günther in The Julekalender.
The program includes songs from both his own backlist, from the time of “De Nattergale” and well-known songs from The Julekalender.
The evening offers both poetic, rude and content with a smile – monologues, songs and instrumental performances.
He is both an entertainer, musician and composer.
With the ukulele as a solo instrument, he has played at the Sibelius Museum in Finland, at the Blue Mountain Ukulele Festival in Australia, in Norway, Sweden – yes, even in Tokyo.
The more famous side of him is known to many as a funny comedian and musician. Tonight he will have the whole palette.
The singing will be in West Jutland, Danish, English and “Denglish”.
On stage is Carsten Knudsen, and together with him are his ukulele from Hawaii, guitars, didgeridoo, harmonium (pump organ), harp and other instruments.
Carsten has a wrinkle on his forehead – because his brain is curled.
