Create Stories with Pictures – with Hans Jacob Østerø

Come and join illustrator Hans Jacob Østerø, who invites children to invent their own stories – and tell them through pictures!

Maybe you’ll create a funny character, an adventure, or something completely from your imagination, which you’ll bring to life on paper.

Hans Jacob will also share some of his own drawings and short stories to inspire the children.

It will be a fun and creative session for the whole family, where children can use their imagination, play with images, and discover how to tell stories without words.

Hans Jacob Østerø holds a degree in multimedia design and works as a freelance illustrator.
He has illustrated the popular picture book Svansi-Bob by Joan Waag Høgnesen, as well as the cover and Advent story by Silja Aldudóttir in Míni jólabók 2024.

The workshop is for children aged 5–12, and of course, parents are welcome to join in.
