Culture Night at the National Hospital of the Faroe Islands

Teddy Bear Hospital from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM:
Doctors and nurses are ready to welcome sick teddy bears. Children help find diagnoses and treat the patients.
While waiting, you can draw a picture that shows hospital life.
The drawings will be exhibited in the foyer of the National Hospital for a few days afterward.

Ambulances from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM:
The ambulance service will display their vehicles in front of the main entrance of the National Hospital. Children and teddy bears are welcome to explore inside the ambulances.

Walk in the tunnel and War Hospital from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM:
The tour starts outside Eirargarður 13, at the entrance above the building. You will walk through the tunnel under Eirargarður and then under J.C. Svabosgøta up to the green building. Along the way, there will be stops with explanations about the War Hospital, which was planned during the Cold War.
The walk is about 1 kilometer long and takes approximately 20 minutes.
Tours leave every 10 minutes from Eirargarður during this hour, with the last tour at 5:50 PM.

Enjoy the view from the roof of the National Hospital from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM:
You can enjoy the view over the capital from the green building of the National Hospital. Visitors will climb all 164 stairs to the top floor, where staff will allow people out onto the roof.
