Culture Night With the Writer’s Association

Everyone is welcome to drop by to learn about the work of the Faroese Writers’ Association while exploring the former home of national hero, Hans Andrias Djurhuus. You can also find out how to become a member—and why, if you’re a writer, you definitely should be.

From 9:00 PM, we’ll be hosting a Ritsalon (literary salon), where the following authors will read from their own work: Rói Patursson, Svanna Jákupsdóttir, Arnbjørn Ólavsson Dalsgarð, Rannvá Haldisardóttir Glerfoss, and Oddfríður Marni Rasmussen.

Afterwards, the floor will be open for anyone who wants to share their own writing (up to 5 minutes per person). We look forward to seeing you!
