Kathak is one of the eight major Indian classical dances. The dance originates from northern India, where Kathakars are known as storytellers who narrate legends like the Mahabharata and Ramayana through dance using hands, rhythmic footwork, and elegant movements. Later, it was also common to perform the dance in temples and the dance was also influenced by Persian and Mughal culture.
16.30: We gather and see two dance performances. Bipahsa will perform Indian dance, and Pikun Saengno will perform Thai knife dance.
The event ends at 17.00.
