Multicultural Week 2025
Samba is a lively and rhythmic dance originating in Brazil, usually danced to music with a precise rhythm. The dance is characterized by fast movements and a distinctive “bounce” technique in the legs. Samba can be danced both with and without a partner.
You can look forward to trying samba, Indian dance, bachata, and modern jive when Multicultural Week 25, together with the Nordic House, offers four different dance workshops on the same day. You don’t need to know the steps beforehand, and you don’t need to have a dance partner. Come as you are and dance with us! The workshops are 30 minutes each, and you will have the opportunity to try them all without needing to register.
We will also see Indian and Thai dance on stage when we finish the day at 16:3
