Edith sings Swedish ballads

At just 19, Edith moved to Sweden to immerse herself in the Nordic ballad tradition and the art of song interpretation. She studied at the Nordic Folk High School in Kungälv — a place that has also shaped Faroese artists such as Hanus G. and Niels Midjord.

During that year she explored ballad traditions from across the Nordic countries, but it was the rich Swedish song tradition that truly captured her heart.
