Elvis in Chaos

Boston performer Michael Anderson brings his manic multimedia show Elvis in Chaos to Sjónleikarhúsið, 34 Niels Finsens gøta, Torshavn on August 2 at 18:00. Admission 100 dkr. He performed it to a full house at Maggie’s on Nolsoy last year. He will perform it at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival the week after this show.
Michael uses fast-moving PowerPoint images to drive monologues at the intersection of spoken word, alternative comedy, and science. He is a two-time winner of the Bad Ad Hoc Hypotheses Festival, satirical science comedy performed from MIT to Imperial College London. His work is intellectually dense, hilarious, and insightful. According to San Francisco critic Charlie Varon, “he makes you think while you’re laughing.” Elvis in Chaos is a series of hallucinatory raves on: Elvis’ branching timelines, romance in the Multiverse, the Top Five Gods of All Time, the politics of the Oreo™ cookie, the art composition of the constellation Orion, how bagpipes caused the Black Death, and hilarious stage malfunction in Shakespeare’s Richard III.
