Environment Week: Carpentry Workshop

This workshop is unfortunately cancelled. 

In this family-friendly workshop, children and adults build small homes for insects (insect hotels) together using natural materials. Participants receive a brief introduction to why insects are so important and how an insect hotel can help them. They then begin building their own insect hotel, which can be taken home and placed in the garden or on the balcony.

Who is leading the workshop?
Kim Neider, gardener at the Agricultural Centre (Búnaðarstovan).

The workshop is practical, creative, and suitable for all age groups. No prior knowledge is required.
