Environment Week and the Nordic House invite families to an exciting day filled with activities for children and adults alike.

On the program: seed workshops for kids, lectures for adults, guided tours in the new grow tunnel – which is also open for visits – children’s cinema, repair workshops, plant treasure hunts, and various other hands-on activities for the whole family to enjoy together.

Help pave the way for our children’s future – and join us for a day of sustainable family fun!

Program:

  • 12:00 The Nordic House opens – activity stations, grow tunnel, and more are open until 17:00

  • 13:00 Seed workshop for children aged 7–11 (registration required. Registration opens on April 28)

  • 13:00 Guided tour of the grow tunnel

  • 14:00 Sashiko embroidery – mend and enhance clothes using traditional Japanese stitching (registration required)

  • 15:00 Seed workshop for children aged 7–11 (registration required. Registration opens on April 28)

  • 15:00 Guided tour of the grow tunnel

  • 16:00 Vegetables for Faroese Gardens – lecture with Sigga Rasmussen and Karina Toftegaard
