Faroe Ship Concert on Culture Night

Lena Anderssen and her band — Niclas Johannesen, Jóhannus á Rógvu Joensen, and Jósva Debes — who have been her trusted musical companions for over a decade, will take the stage with a heartfelt selection of beloved classics and well-known new songs from Lena’s songbook.

Her latest album, State of the Land, was released in January 2024. Recorded in Los Angeles with the renowned producer Geoff Emerick, the album received exceptional acclaim and was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2025 Faroese Music Awards.

A new Faroese-language release is also on the way. The first single, Dugir Tú At Tosa Føroyskt (“Do You Speak Faroese?”), was released in October last year and has enjoyed significant airplay. The next single — the title track from the upcoming Faroese album, Við Hetta Borðið (“At This Table”) — will be released on May 30. The full album is expected later this year.
