F’LJÓÐ Living room concert with Tóra Trónd
Tóra Trónd released her first single, “Stadig Væk”, in 2022. The catchy track was played a lot in the Faroe Islands and was nominated for Song of the Year at the FMA the same year.
What characterises Tóra’s music is that it is emotional, melodic, and has lyrics that are a fusion of the poetic and the honest. Tóra is an exciting songwriter whom everyone ought to keep an eye on, because she has enormous potential.
This is how they expressed themselves about Tóra Trónd when, in 2024, she performed to a full house at the Open Mic on Tórsgøta.
Tóra Trónd was born and raised in Copenhagen, and at the moment she is focusing on composition at the upper-secondary music school in the Faroe Islands. She is already well on her way in music and has, among other things, composed a musical, sung in a big band, and taken part in the entrepreneurial initiative “She Can Play” in Denmark.
Tóra writes heartfelt songs and piano music. With a foundation in a fusion of singer-songwriter and classical music, she writes songs that are about emotions, machines, volcanic eruptions, and everything in between.
Tóra will be joined by her father, Trónd Bogason – also an award-winning musician – on keyboards at the living room concert.
