Free Concert with HOYM at TUTL

Kick off the weekend with a warm and intimate concert at TUTL, as the trio HOYM takes the stage. HOYM consists of Elinborg Pálsdóttir (FO), Lea Kampmann (FO) and Katrín Helga Ólafsdóttir / k.óla (IS) — three distinctive voices from the Nordic music scene.

HOYM came into being when the three artists met and worked together at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen. Although each of them has an established solo career with several releases behind them, they join their voices in HOYM as a shared artistic project rooted in feminine energy, presence, and creative community.

The trio has released an EP featuring six songs in Faroese and Icelandic, written and recorded in Iceland. The music draws on folk traditions and acoustic instrumentation, while the lyrics explore connection, emotion, and relationships — across languages and borders.

At the concert in TUTL, HOYM will perform songs from the EP as well as new material currently in progress. Everything is performed live, and each concert becomes a unique interplay between the new and the familiar.
