Free soloconsert in TUTL with Heðin Ziska Davidsen from Tjant and Resterne af Rigsfællesskabet
The latest Tjant release, ógreiða (entropi), is based on just that, entropi – an expression of chaos in a system. Tjant utilises randomness and external sound sources, such as FM radio, and translates them into musical parameters. On top os this, the musicians ork with these parameters and respond to them and try to make music based on them.
Resterne af Rigsfællesskabet (The Remains of the (Danish) Commonwealth) is a trio consisting of Heðin Ziska Davidsen from the Faroe Islands, Jesper Pedersen from Denmark living in Iceland and Miké Thomsen from Greenland. Faroe Islands and Greenland are still part of the Danish kingdom or commonwealth where as Iceland got it’s independence in 1944. Thus the musical group is and abstraction of the commonwealth as it is today and questions the commonwealths obviousness, by including Iceland in it’s identity.
We look forward to seeing you here in our TUTL shop
