Grundlógardagur – Constitution Day

Grundlógardagur, or Constitution Day, is celebrated annually on June 5th in the Faroe Islands. It commemorates the signing of the Danish Constitution in 1849, marking the start of constitutional governance in Denmark and its territories, including the Faroe Islands.
