Gruppo del Maggio delle Ragazze di Riolunato (IT)
The tradition is passed down from one generation to the next, and is performed by “maggiolanti” (young singers, musicians and dancers). During the first celebration, “maggiolanti” walk around the village singing songs about wishing happiness to others. During the second celebration, the villagers give “maggiolanti” food and drink, which is enjoyed between the songs and dances.
