Huldre Hunt at Hotel Hafnia

After a very successful event last year, the Huldre Hunt returns to Hotel Hafnia.
Search for the huldre folk throughout the hotel and receive a treat once you’ve found them all. You can also enjoy the beautiful light installation on the hotel rooftop.

The Huldre Hunt is free of charge and open to everyone.

At the same time, Hotel Hafnia is offering a special Huldre deal this week, children under 12 stay for free.

Enjoy the Huldre Menu at Katrina Christiansen restaurant:
Risin (7-course menu)
– Catch from the shore at dusk (Crab bisque)
– Stolen from the farmer’s pantry (cooked fresh meat, salmon dish, dried ham with accompaniments)
– Burnt porridge from the huldu woman (Risotto croquettes – subject to minor changes)
– Sheep thief (Braised lamb shoulder with garlic and tomato)
– Overturned patch “Harvested from the field at midnight, glazed with honey — surely that will do the trick” (Honey-glazed root vegetables)
– Witchcraft “Smoked cheese, spread it out, cabbage, pear and nuts — topped with sour lye” (Smoked cheese, pointed cabbage, pear and nuts with mustard vinaigrette)
– Berry porridge with whipped cream and old bread

Kellingin (5-course menu)
– Catch from the shore at dusk (Crab bisque)
– Stolen from the farmer’s pantry (Skinsakjøt, gravlax, dried ham with accompaniments)
– Burnt porridge from the huldu woman (Risotto croquettes)
– Sheep thief (Braised lamb shoulder with garlic and tomato)
– Berry porridge with whipped cream and old bread

Candlelight and huldu-inspired music will complete the experience, creating a truly magical Huldu atmosphere
