Jamila Collins: The Living Word

You are invited to meet Jamilla Collins at her first solo art exhibition entitled The Living Word.

Jamilla Collins was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY where she discovered her passion for Fine Arts.

From adolescences to adulthood, she attended specialized art schools which enabled her to develop her skills, which included NYC Museum School, High School of Art and Design, and Pratt institute.

Jamilla Collins also attended Moody Bible Institute to pursue her passion in discovering Biblical truth. Jamilla merges both her passion for painting and biblical truths to create compelling pieces of art that provoke self reflection. 

Jamilla Collins now resides in the Faroe Islands, where she has pursued her passion once again for painting. 

At this event you will see an array of artwork, portraying the life of people in the Faroe Islands, as well as landscapes and inspirational pieces. 
 
Musical guest artists,  Sára Sámalsdóttir Steinkross, will be performing on opening night together with Jóna Pállsdóttir Jacobsen.
