Around 30 paintings are included in the exhibition, most from the capital area. In addition to paintings, there are smaller works on paper.

Jón has been painting since his youth and has held many solo exhibitions, several of them in Smiðjan. He has also participated both in group exhibitions in galleries and in juried exhibitions.
In 2003, Jón attended art school in Denmark.

The paintings are colorful, with light playing an important role.

Jón is from Argir and lives in Toftir, where he has his own studio.
