Dánial Hoydal’s popular children’s book takes you to the wondrous land of Geyma, where you’ll meet Tíðindafróða, Roksimalena, Hermus, Klikkheys, and many other strange creatures.

The book is available in Dansistovan, and while you listen, you can flip through it and follow along with the illustrations.

The story is meant for both children and adults – so bring the whole family, find a sheepskin, and see if you recognize any of the characters in yourselves. Perhaps there’s a Gella in your family?

Í Geyma is published by Bókadeild Føroya Lærarafelags and is read aloud in Faroese.
