Lítlahús: Children’s Opera

Prince Tamino, Princess Pamina, the bird catcher Papageno, the bird girl Papagena, the Queen of the Night, the three ladies, and all the others in the magical forest.

We meet them all when Opera.fo’s children’s performance group, Operetturnar visits us with a pixi-version of The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The Magic Flute is one of the most famous and popular operas and is filled with wonderful music.

The well-known opera has been rewritten as a short story by Birita Adela, which she will read aloud while Operetturnar sing and perform.

The performance is intended for children aged 3–11. 

With the Lítlahús event series, Nordens Hus takes a new step toward making art and culture more accessible to children. The aim is for children to feel at home and experience art on their own terms.
