Photoexhibition

The photography exhibition “Áarmót” (in English, “Watersmeet”, describing the place where rivers meet) opens on Monday, October 26th at 15:00.

The exhibition is born from a unique meeting between Faroese designers and women from ten different cultures, all living in Tórshavn. Each woman brought an object that she felt represented her cultural background. Inspired by these meaningful items, the designers then created custom outfits for them.
This has been a creative, social, unique, and incredibly fun project. We are genuinely excited to showcase these photographs in Dansistovan at the Nordic House.
