Release concert: Kanska ein bygd

“Kanska ein bygd” translates to Perhaps a Village and began as a project by the dance company RIVA, which brought together dance and literature. Heðin Ziska Davidsen created the sound design and music for the project, which was presented in November 2024. Since then, Heðin has adapted the soundscape and music into an album, which is now being released as a double LP. Later this month, it will also become available on streaming platforms.

The “Kanska ein bygd” project explores what it means to remember past relationships through stories about people who have died. This release echoes this and is a journey through sound and words, leaving ample space for the listener to hear themselves.
