Many film projects spring from strong ideas, but far from all develop into coherent and dramatically sustainable narratives. A clear premise and an interesting concept may be present, but the story is not fully realized.
This masterclass examines the difference between an idea and a narrative. It focuses on how an idea can be transformed into a dramatically cohesive story. Using dramaturgical analysis and practical experience, the course works with:

The course is aimed at students and professionals interested in screenwriting and cinematic dramaturgy who wish to strengthen their understanding of how idea-based projects are developed into complete dramas.
Rasmus is one of Denmark’s most decorated screenwriters. His filmography includes some of the biggest Scandinavian hits of the last two decades:
International Hits: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Mænd som hader kvinder), A Royal Affair (En Kongelig Affære), and The Absent One (Fasandræberne).
Directorial Debut: In the Blood (I Blodet), which won the Bodil for Best Film in 2017.
Recent Work: The End (2024).
