Seminar for filmakers with Signe Byrge

Would you like to learn more about the work of a film producer, which tools are important to master, and what the job entails?
Then you can sign up for the producer course with producer Signe Byrge, organized by Filmshúsið.

During the course, you will work through the entire film production process—from concept development and pitching to working with schedules, budgets, funding opportunities, and film distribution.
Signe Byrge will discuss the practical tasks of a producer and share examples from real film projects.

Jón Hammer, a Faroese film producer, will also speak about his work experience in the Faroe Islands and provide insight into the funding systems most commonly used in film production.

The course will take place at Filmshúsið from August 15–17 and is intended for anyone interested in producing documentary films—both producers and directors.
