Spæl Føroyskt Week (Play Faroese music week)

“Spæl føroyskt” is an initiative aimed at developing the Faroese music scene and musical heritage—ranging from traditional ballads (kvæði) to pop music. Anyone can organize an event and participate.

The Spæl Føroyskt Week initiative is jointly organised by the Faroese Music Association (TSF) and Faroese Broadcasting Corporation (KVF), running from Sunday, March 4th to Saturday, March 10th.

During this week, only Faroese music will be played on KVF’s radio, and there will also be plenty of live Faroese music to enjoy across the country.
