Come and hear the story of the brave Sára Skinfluga!

On this day, the Faroese picture book Djarva Sára Skinfluga will be presented, and the story will be read aloud.

The tale follows Sára Skinfluga, who lives in a little shed in a cozy garden. She’s a super fly, and one rainy day, she receives an invitation to a knitting club party in the rhubarb patch. Some of the tiny creatures in the garden are busy preparing for the big celebration – despite the heavy rain – but soon someone finds themselves in trouble. Luckily, brave Sára Skinfluga is ready to help!

The story is written by Mourits Mohr Joensen – musician, songwriter, and now children’s author – and illustrated by Jórunn Davidsen.

At this event, they will talk a bit about the book before reading the story aloud, while the funny and colorful illustrations are shown on screen.

The book will be available for purchase, and you’ll have the chance to get it signed.
