Do you look for shadows in the dark? 

Do you have to press the light switch three times before turning it off?

Have you ever imagined yourself as a ninja running alongside the car when in a moving car?

We all experience the world in different ways, what we believe shapes our identities and which thoughts run through our minds. Some of us prefer to stay in the background, while others stand out with their “main character energy”.

Despite our differences, we share one fundamental truth: we are all the main characters in our own lives. The Main Character explores human identity, the factors that shape it, and how they influence us.

The creation and staging of the performance have been a collaborative effort between seven international professional dancers, who have also drawn inspiration and support from students of the dance and movement program at Nám X. The piece is still evolving and will be further developed after the performance.
