The Mukherjee Development
In a world marked by division and uncertainty, The Mukherjee Development writes songs about what connects us. Frontman Oscar Mukherjee has Danish, American and Indian roots, and the songs explore identity, friendship and longing, carried by a voice that can be both vulnerable and powerful.

The music moves between poetic folk, driving guitar rock and sweeping, cinematic heights. Think Neil Young’s raw intensity, The War on Drugs’ spacious sound and Phoebe Bridgers’ intimate presence – but with a distinctly Nordic character of its own.

With more than 200 concerts and rave reviews, including from GAFFA, The Mukherjee Development has established itself as a strong live act on the Danish music scene. On their latest album Square Up On A Curve (2025), most of the songs were written collectively by the band. This has given the music a strong collective energy, bringing together different musical expressions into one shared sound.

Lyon Hansen
Lyon Hansen’s music moves between intimate folk, hard-edged electric blues and swinging country. On his latest album Skull-sized Kingdom, the subdued and the raw meet in songs about sorrow and joy, restlessness and calm. Several of the album’s songs, including Summar Nætur, Leið 400 and Kom Heim Við Mær, have already found their way to Faroese audiences.
